ROTARY IS ABOUT YOUTH!

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
LEARN MORE

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.

What is Rotary?

Individual Rotary Clubs, more than 32,000 worldwide, make up Rotary International. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed or political preference. There over 1.2 million members world-wide. The purpose of the organization is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Members usually meet weekly for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work on their service goals.

ABOUT GOVERNOR KAREN

HELPING THE PEOPLE AND ROTARY CLUBS OF JAPANNEW
District 5450 has formed a group that will be working on our District to District fundraising from District 5450 to District 2520  in the Sendai area of Japan.  This group has risen out of the GSE exchange with that District last year. The district has lost at least 20 clubs as of now that cannot meet because of the devastation. It will be a long recovery and we are committed  to helping this group of Rotarians. We encourage you to work on fundraising in any way you would like and to send the checks to the Boulder Rotary Club Foundation, 5390 Manhattan Circle, Suite 101, Boulder, CO 80303-4282 with “Japan District 2520 Relief” in the memo line. If you would like to be involved with this group please send your name to the committee chair, Doyle Tinkey at  . We will have a donation opportunity at the District Conference
