WHERE THE MOUNTAINS MEET THE PLAINS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q Is it possible to manually register for the conference?
A No. The only way to register is to go on line to www.rotary5450.org and click on the link to the conference registration page.
Q What if I don’t have Internet access?
A Find a club "Internet Buddy". Ask someone in your Club to register for you or assist you to register.
Q I have entered my information and my registration is not being accepted. I keep getting an error message.
A Usually this means that you have not completed all of the required information. The fields requiring information are designated by “*”.

Be sure to check your acceptance of the terms of the registration. Review what you have done, make the necessary corrections, and your registration should be accepted. If you are still having problems send an email to the District Conference Registrar, Gary Frisch, at
303-759-2796
Q Is there a special rate for non-Rotarian guests?
A No, guest registration options are the same a the Rotarian.
Q I just want to buy a ticket for Friday night. How do I register for this meal?
A Not all district conferences have a Friday only selection. If no selection shows in the registration form, this is not an option.
Q Is there a fee just for the meetings?
A No. The major costs of the conference are meals.
Q I can’t stay for dinner on Saturday night. Is there a partial registration available?
A No. The only registration choices available are those shown on the registration form. If you do not see what you are looking for the choice is not available.
Q How do I arrange for vegetarian meals?
A You must make this selection when you register. We will not be accepting any special meal requests at the conference as food commitments have been made to the hotel days before the conference. Tickets will be provided to those who have ordered this meal. Those without this special meal ticket will not receive one. You will not be able to change to a special meal at the time meals are served.
Q Can I book my hotel reservation on the conference web site?
A No. You must contact the hotel directly to make your room reservations. The hotel information is posted on the conference web site, which is accessed at www.rotary5450.org. The room block for the conference is being held for a specific period of time. After that date you might still be able to reserve a room but the conference rate is no longer guaranteed. See the current conference information for that special room rate deadline.
Q If I am paying by check where do I send it?
A Rotary District Event-DERT, 18306 E. Mansfield Ave., Aurora, CO 80013
Q My club is going to send one check for all members attending from our club. How should our club members register?
A

You may register as a Group. Follow these steps:

1. Click YES for the question: "Will you be registering more than one person for this event?"

2. Complete the primary registration (person making payment).

3. Press Register Another Person when given that choice. Complete as many times as you like.

4. Once all members of your group are registered, Pres Continue and make your payment choice.

Please make sure the check covers the entire registration cost for these members. If your club is only paying for the Rotarian, please collect the guest fee from the Rotarian. If your name is not on the club list, or a list does not exist, you will be asked to pay at check-in.

Q I missed the early registration date. Is there any way to still get the rate?
A No. Once the date is passed the only rate available is the late fee price.
Q I can’t attend the conference. How do I get a refund?
A Yes. Send an email to the District Conference Registrar, Gary Frisch, at bfrmis@worldnet.att.net. There is a handling fee applied to the refund amount.
Q My guest can’t attend the conference. Can I get a partial refund?
A Yes. Send an email to the District Conference Registrar, Gary Frisch, at bfrmis@worldnet.att.net. There is a handling fee applied to the refund amount.
A Is there walk up registration at the conference?
Q Yes. However, due to the capacity of the banquet room at the hotel, we do not have unlimited seating for meals. If the conference is fully booked in advance, walk ups will have to go on a waiting list and can only be registered if we have no shows. Also if you will need vegetarian meals you must register in advance. To make sure you are able to fully participate in this conference it is best to register prior to the close of on-line registration. See the information page on this conference to see that deadline.
